How Upwardly Global works:

 

1. Simply go to www.upwardlyglobal.org to complete a simple online application. It takes about 5-7 minutes to complete.

2. Once you submit the form, one of our staff will contact them within 3-5 business days.

3. Qualified clients will be invited to a one-on-one meeting to clarify personal goals, discuss work experience, and revise their resume.

4. Accepted clients will attend an 8-week training course on interviewing, networking, and job search skills.

5. Clients will be matched with a volunteer mentor who is an established professional in their field.

6. Once job searching and interviewing skills have been mastered, we will provide introductions to Upwardly Global's Employer Partners.

 

Requirement: 

 

The Requirements for Acceptance into the Jobseeker Services Program Upwardly Global works with immigrant professionals who have the following:

 

1. Full, permanent work authorization (i.e. green card or refugee/asylee status).

2. At least a 4-year university degree and 2 years of professional experience outside of the U.S.

3. Arrived to the U.S. from a developing country within the past 5 years.

4. Adequate level of English proficiency
